The Rebel
The Rebel was written in recognition of a brave protest by 70,000 people in Leipzig, East Germany on 9th October 1989 calling for freedom and democracy.
Despite being threatened by soldiers with machine guns and tanks, the crowd refused to disperse. They stood their ground. Their courageous action led to other uprisings culminating in the fall of the Berlin Wall that had stood for 28 years to divide people and reinforce the ideological division between capitalism and communism.
The fall of the Wall sent a powerful message of unity and the hope for a world free from physical and ideological walls. It continues to serve as a stark reminder of the consequences of the 'divide and rule' strategy of totalitarian governments.
Tragically, even as the Berlin Wall was being dismantled, other less visible and even more sinister walls were being built to divide and weaken the peoples of the world. The 'wall building' continues today.

Question: How can you tell when someone who challenges the 'authorities' probably comes from a place of truth and integrity?
Answer: Because these 'authorities' have no defence against truth and integrity, so they will smear them as anti-Semitic, leftwing, rightwing, racist or xyz-phobic.
Jeremy Corbyn and Robert F Kennedy Jr are just two well known victims of such smears.
The United Nations Security Council describes the Israeli demolition of Palestinian homes as a “grave breach of the Fourth Geneva Convention – International Law that protects civilian populations in occupied territories”.
Does that make the United Nations 'anti-Semitic'?
Because I respect International Law and would like to see the Israeli government respect it, does that make me anti-Semitic?
The US National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) statistics show that if you are of the Non-Hispanic Black race group you have a higher chance of developing diabetes than any other race group.
Does that make the NCBI racist? Because I believe these statistics, does that make me racist?
